High hopes for Harriers
Setting sights on new equipment
Aug 26, 2025
The East Bay Harriers, a local track and field club, had their sights set on upgrading training equipment - but the costs always felt out of reach. That changed when families started using Ev’ryday.
“Every pole, mat and stopwatch adds up,” says head coach Tasha Greene. “But thanks to everyday shopping, we’ve already raised $6,000. That means safer landings, better gear and more kids able to compete.”
“Seeing the community back us makes us want to jump higher, run faster, push further,” says 15-year-old sprinter Maya Lopez.
With the next season on the horizon, the Harriers aren’t just training harder - they’re aiming higher than ever too.
